    Huawei Mate 7 smartphone on Airtel Uganda launched with a tantalizing data package

    Uganda’s big red network recently branded it’s self as the smartphone network and has launched last year’s Huawei smartphone phablet. The Huawei Mate 7 smartphone on Airtel Uganda comes with a tantalizing package that includes 4.5 GB of data valid for 3 months at UGX 1,700,000.  You can also get the same 16 GB version of the phone on Jumia website and costs between UGX 1,650,000- UGX 1,720,500 with no extra goodies.

    The Huawei Mate 7 smartphone comes with a large 6 inch Full-HD display, dual SIM support with both Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM combo. The phone is powered a Huawei custom HiSilicon Kirin 925 chip running on an Octa-core processor (Quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7).

    For those who like the latest and greatest Android software, will be disappointed to know that the phone comes with Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat), we hope Huawei will upgrade it to the latest version soon. Airtel will sale the 16 GB version that also has support for micro-SD which is expandable memory up to 128 GB. The phone comes in Moonlight silver color with a large non-removable Li-Po 4100 mAh battery that can last you up to 648 hours on a 3G network.
