Huawei kicks off LG from 3rd place in smartphone market share

If you had any doubt that Huawei doesn’t mean China to rule the world, then think again. The company is slowly but surely soaring up smartphone sales. According to  Strategy Analytics  that just posted the third quarter global market share estimates that indicate Huawei’s dominance overtaking LG since the previous quarter. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer now claims third place with 5.1 percent of sales behind Apple.

This isn’t the first time that the Chinese phone maker has reached such elevated heights, but it comes even as LG produced leading results; With the recent announcement of the Ascend P6, researchers believe it has lead to the rise to strong sales  plus the mainstream G610 have lead to this raise since both these phones were a hit in Huawei’s home country.

In other obvious observations, Samsung is still shipping more smartphones than Apple can think about with to twice the amount. This leaves Apple held on to the second-place spot at 15,6% percent. We are not sure if Huawei will maintain its spot
when LG is likely to get a fourth quarter sales boost from the G2.
