HTC M8’s bigger and meaner brother leaks

    HTC One M8 prime

This is the what most would have wanted the HTC One M8 to be, according to top gadget tipster @evleaks, HTC is working on even a higher-end edition of it’s current flagship HTC One M8, the M8 Prime. However, things just got interesting. The leaked images show off the phone’s new design. The most notable differences are at the back with the camera –which is prominently bigger than that of the regular One. Something tells us we might see more than 4 megapixels for the first time in HTC’s Ultra Pixel technology retaining the dual camera set up found on the HTC One.  According to @evleaks, the cosmetic change may stem from the use of an unusual aluminum and liquid silicone hybrid that is supposed to be both strong and heat-absorbing. This could be the successor to last year’s HTC One Max.

    Other rumored specs include

    • 3GB of RAM and
    • A 2k screen with 2,560 x 1,440 screen resolution, at 5.5-inch display

This could be a render for all we know, but if the Prime exists at all, it may be different for the current rumors, either way we know HTC must have a One Max follow up and this could be the one.
