    How to update Your Identity Information on the Standard Chartered app

    As banks in Uganda struggle to ensure all their clientele have up-to-date information in their systems, Standard Chartered is making it easy for their customers to update all their personal details with ease. All you need is a smartphone, the Standard Chartered app for iOS or Android and copy of your National Identity Card to do so.

    Lets take you through the step by step process with the six step process process below.

    1. Log onto the SC Mobile App and tap service requests

    2. Select Personal Details and key in your one-time password sent via SMS that has been sent to you.

    3. Under Personal Details, select National ID as your preferred mode of identification.

    4. Input your National Identity Number (NIN) and expiry date, select Documents to upload and tap next.

    5. Upload pictures of your National ID (Both Front and Back) tap save to move to the next step.

    6. Confirm your profile changes, tap next and key in the One Time Password sent via SMS to submit.

    It should be noted that you will receive an SMS and email notification for every change you make to your personal details so that you can input into the Standard Chartered app.
