Unlike its predecessor, the Z Flip folds upside down just like the Motorola Razr. Soon after the launch, the device went on its first sale in the US and South Korea. Turns out, the device sold like hotcakes and ended up out of stock soon after (as expected the stock was very limited with a first batch of about 20,000 units ).

    • Covering the antennas (located on the back of the phone, at the top and bottom) with your hand may affect the performance of features such as calling, mobile data connection, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi.
    • Do not press the screen or the front camera with a hard or sharp object, such as a pen or your fingernail, or apply excessive pressure. Doing so could result in scratching or puncturing the screen.
    • Do not attach adhesives such as films or stickers to the main screen.
    • The Galaxy Z Flip is not water or dust resistant, so do not allow any liquids or particles to enter the device.
    • When using the speakers, such as when playing media files or using speakerphone, do not place the device close to your ears
