The Digital revolution in Uganda started all way up from Television service providers who were forced to scrap off any analog signals in a bid to transmit digital signals through PayTv providers and the UCC approved free to air providers. Since then, all popular institutions borrowed a leaf to go digital from banks to utility providers like UMEME and National Water & Sewerage Corporation (NWSC). However, as NWSC only has a few digital meters rolled out, predicting water bills using the popular old meters is now easier than mere assumptions.
Calculated with a cost/Unit mechanism, water prediction and clearing is far easier than you can imagine since all is done with a single smartphone app that we shall use to show you how you can actually predict or clear you outstanding water bill.
Step 1. Download the NWSC app
You can download the NWSC in either the Google or Playstore named as NWSC mobile.
Step 2. Log in with your Email credentials.
To login with your NWSC meter number, simply tap the existing customer option if u already have an account, or simply hover to signup tab where the app will send u a new account password &username.
Step 3. Calculate and Predict using the meter calculator
After a simple procedure away from downloading to logging into your NWSC account. It’s about time to swiftly predict the next bill amount by checking the physical meter units and entering them to the predictor. Just like that, the app will show you the next bill amount where you can choose to clear the outstanding balance early before the enforcers prove a double attack. Therefore, even when National water doesn’t have a full Yaka like interface, predicting your next water bill can be as easy as a tip tap on your smartphone with the above procedures.
