    Advertisements (Ads) are a form of revenue for all app developers. To the user, these pop up ads make the browsing experience slow amidst being vulnerable to external threats like infected files. The fact is that ads revenue generating for most online business and developers who use them in their apps. To avoid pop up ads, users prefer to download apps from the Google Play Store than any other 3rd party stores.

    Uninstall any unknown / useless apps

    Unknown or essentially useless apps not only consume device storage. But also tend to host a whole bunch of the pop up ads. Imagine replying a Whatsapp chat and all of a sudden a nude game advert pops up with a 10seconds countdown to reveal the close ad option.

    Google playstore is the official and only certified android store to download legally licensed Android apps. In addition to featuring all sorts of official apps. Google play of late has various warnings and keywords installed on all app download pages. For instance, majority of free apps in the store feature the keyword *This app contains ads*. Well, many ignore this simple keyword but at the ned of the day, the very official free app downloaded could be the reason to the ever popping overlay ads on your android smartphone.
