    Hive Colab opens a new incubation branch in Mbarara

    Hive Colab, Uganda’s first technology hub, is pleased to announce the opening of another
    branch in Mbarara located at 3rd Floor Easy View Complex next to APA Insurance.

    “The goal of opening this branch is to be able to support innovators and creators of
    employment in the ICT sector in the region.” said Barbara Birungi Mutabazi, Cofounder and Director.

    Hive Colab Mbarara has seating capacity of almost 50 people in the open space, dedicated
    tables, and high speed internet in a conducive working environment. Programmes include
    structured incubation with business development services, an accelerator, ideation
    hackathons, coding boot camps, Inter-University Innovation Challenge and more.

    “It is important to us to extend our services to the rest of the country. There are innovators
    and creators outside the Kampala Metro area. And this extension is our first step to
    providing innovation spaces around the country,” added Teddy Ruge, cofounder of Hive
    Colab.
