    Here is how to apply for Jack Ma’s Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative

    Ugandan entrepreneurs can now submit their applications for the Africa Netpreneur Prize initiative (ANPI), a 10$ million project backed by the Chinese company Alibaba Group. This competition will recognise a total of up to 100 companies across the continent in a period of 10 years solving social issues in their community.

    10 entrepreneurs from across the continent will be selected every year to compete for a total prize money of 1$ Million and pitch in front of billionaire Jack Ma in the grand finale.

    ANPI prize was launched in 2018 from Johannesburg with an intention to inspire and motivate African entrepreneurs who are creating notable solutions for an inclusive future economy. Entrepreneurs from any age, gender and sector are encouraged to apply for the competition both tech driven and traditional businesses.

    Here are some important calendar dates to keep track off.

    • Application deadline: 30th June 2019
    • Short List for top 50 Regional Finalists: August 2019
    • Announcement for top 10 finalists: October 2019
    • Grande Finale: November 2019
