Huawei may not be giving up on using Android on its current devices just yet. The company has been gradually announcing all its current Huawei phones that will be getting the the latest Android Q aka Android 10 update and EMUI 10.
On top of this, these devices will also be getting an update of Huawei’s EMUI 10 Android skin. EMUI is far from the most popular skin out there. It gets a bad rap because it changes the look and feel of Android quite a bit and tries to imitate Apple’s iOS in many ways.
The features of EMUI 10 are not finalized but, Huawei Mate 20 Pro is scheduled to get EMUI 9.1 this month and update that comes with a couple of AI-related features to a few Huawei and Honor devices. For the gamers, EMUI 9.1, revealed the third generation of its graphics processing technology — GPU Turbo 3.0. It’s said to reduce SoC power consumption by 10 percent. These are just a few of the new features of EMUI 10.
