    Here are 5 ways to access your NSSF balance

    The National social security fund (NSSF) unveiled their revamped NSSF Go app last year with a blooming hope of easing savings and customer relations. The app had more than 10,000 downloads on the Play Store as of October 2018.

    As much as we trekked a great path with the NSSF Go app in one interesting review of it. The app now has more features available via a single Update click. In addition, the NSSF Go app already has a 4.5 star rating in the Google play store making it a time saver amidst the ordinary procedures.

    Here are five ways of how you can access your NSSF balance.

    1. Via your mobile device, download and install the new NSSFGo App, available in your mobile App Store.
    2. Via your desktop at https://nssfgo.app and use your registered phone number to receive a one-time password required to login.
    3. Via USSD, dial *254#
    4. Via SMS, type the word “BAL” and send to 6773 using your registered phone number
    5. You may also text us via WhatsApp on +256 784259713 or call our Toll Free line 0800286773.

    For those who use the NSSF Go app, you will be able to use lots of other features including;

    • Contributions payment: Members can now seamlessly complete their NSSF payments using the app through a simple 4-step process. You should, however, be subscribed to either Airtel or MTN money for this.
    • e-Statement: You can get your account information including interest earned from the time you started contributing and the last contribution received on your account.
    • Contacts update: You can update your email & phone number yourself without going to any NSSF offices
    • Retirement projections: It shows the projected balance you will have at any age at a specific interest based on your current salary.
    • Simple log-ins: You don’t need to remember your NSSF number now.
    • Salary Growth Rate: The app takes your average annual salary and determines an annual growth rate based on linear regression.
