MTN Uganda has today engaged young kids to who will participate in a 3 day MTN Junior Robotics camp in order to inspire new problem solvers and create awesome solutions. Through such platforms MTN hopes to create inspire and create a new generation and has invited over 50 children in 10 schools for this program. The goal of the MTN Robotics camp is to introduce the kids to the use of different ways of programming. The participants were chosen come from several primary schools including Kampala Parents, Vine International school, Buganda Road Primary school and are aged between 6-12 years . At the end of the day MTN wants the children to leave the robotics camp with a new perspective of science and its value in digital world.
While speaking at the opening ceremony, Susan Kayemba, Retention and Social media manager encouraged the children to unleash the potential and genius in them because they were chosen from many. MTN is hosting the MTN Junior Robotics camp at its Innovation lab at the MTN Towers.
