Google has today, unveiled its new Android Excellence program, an expansion to its Play Store with that features curated apps by the editorial team. The new revamped experience will feature rotating collection of apps that deliver an excellent Android user experience, and also those that take advantage of Google’s “best practices,” and “have great design, technical performance, localization, and device optimization.” The apps will be shown off two categories, including apps and games. Android Excellence is really not that new in the Play Store as Google previously has the Editor’s Choice section, where they would promote good apps.
The Android Excellence kicks off today in the Google Play Store. Below, their first round of selects.
