Google to reportedly show Tweets in search results…Again!

The world’s biggest internet search Giant Google has reportedly inked a deal with Twitter to show tweets in Google search results. According to, Bloomberg the two internet companies just worked out a business deal that gives the search giant full access to Twitter’s database of tweets.

It should be recalled that the two had a similar search deal four years ago, but it seized in 2011 since Google launched its own social network competitor, Google+, which it had hoped would compete with  Twitter and Facebook. Bloomberg further says that the deal will start later in the first half of the year

“Twitter CEO Embarrassed for the company’s failures”

One of twitter’s weak points that it has to deal with is that it has failed to control the huge amount of harassment and abuse on its social network. Twitter CEO Dick Costolo has today taken personal responsibility for his platform’s chronic problems and has told employees that he is embarrassed for the company’s failures and would soon be taking stronger action to drop off trolls. He said problems with trolls are driving away the company’s users. We hope the Google renewed deal like this, will force the social media company to improve that.
