We all want freebies, especially when its a new smartphone that was launched the previous week. According to Korea Times LG Korea faced it rough after a promotional event for the company’s latest flagship device, the LG G2 caused 20 people to be injured. The “G in the cloud” event in Seoul involved launching hundreds of helium balloons into the air, carrying vouchers for free handsets (What? Free Phones?) — which some members of the crowd tried to shoot down using BB guns. Of course, as a PR stunt the company has already apologized to those who were unknowingly shot and will cover the cost of their medical expenses. Source: Korea Times, YouTube
