    Free internet access in Kenya, courtesy of Airtel and Facebook

    The latest development from Facebook’s internet.org is in Kenya this comes after Tanzania and Zambia. The internet giant is on track to archive its objective of making internet access available to the two-thirds of the world that is not yet connected.

    Chris Daniels, the president of internet.org, announced the that the app would be available for download in Kenya for onlly airtel subscribers.

    The app, also currently available to Airtel subscribers in Zambia and Tigo subscribers in Tanzania, provides people with free access to basic internet services so they can browse useful health, education, finance, employment, communication and local information services without data charges.

    The app is available for download on only android devices.
