Former-Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer buys NBA basketball LA Clippers for $2 billion

After leaving the top spot as Microsoft CEO, seems Steve Ballmer has set his eyes on something to keep him busy. We are talking about NBA’s LA Clippers. The deal is now almost official, and Steve will buy the basketball team Los Angeles Clippers for a record $2 billion, according to The Los Angeles Times. The owner of the team Donald Sterling after some hesitation, has allowed his wife Shelly Sterling, to conclude the deal and the Microsoft ex CEO seems to be on top of the bid according to a tweet from LA times.

Sterling was forced to put the team up for sale after his racist remarks that even rendered his apology on international TV  useless. Most offers were ranging between $1 billion and $2 billion, and Ballmer’s bid was originally reported to be $1.8 billion by Forbes earlier yesterday.
