    With the tournament scheduled to kick off on January 13, 2024, and conclude on February 11, 2024, anticipation is building among football aficionados.

    MultiChoice, the parent company of SuperSport, inked a commercially viable agreement with the rightsholders, New World TV (NWTV), to broadcast the 34th edition of AFCON. 

    This strategic move ensures that football enthusiasts across the continent can catch every moment of the action, from the group stages to the final showdown, as teams compete for continental glory. 

    The agreement positions SuperSport as the go-to destination for comprehensive coverage of the tournament, highlighting its commitment to delivering top-notch sports content to viewers.

    Rendani Ramovha, CEO of SuperSport, expressed delight at the prospect of showcasing the best of African football to viewers. 

    The exclusive coverage also underscores MultiChoice’s commitment to investing in sports content, recognizing its significance in connecting diverse communities and cultures through shared moments of sporting brilliance.

    As a key stakeholder in this agreement, Mr. Nimonka KolaniOLANI, Managing Director of NWTV, emphasized the importance of prioritizing the happiness of African football enthusiasts. 

    Under the leadership of Dr. Patrice Motsepe, this collaboration between SuperSport and NWTV signifies a shared commitment to ensuring that fans can follow the exploits of their favorite teams during the biggest football competition in Africa.
