Not long ago, Facebook announced that it will remove the messaging functionality from its core mobile app and it will be replaced by it’s existing standalone app called Messenger. The social media giant has once again urged the masses to download the messenger app as things are about to change.  For those Facebook die-hards who need to chat via this platform should act immediately as the up coming update to the Facebook app will not including chat functionality.  Currently no one is forced to make the switch but the company says there will be several notices before messages are finally unbundled for good. This could be one of Facebook’s strategies to keep the core Facebook app “light” especially after the trip their engineers took to Africa. Do you have the Messenger App already  installed ?
