    ETISALAT reaffirms commitment to invest in Tanzania’s mobile phone industry

    ETISALAT Company, which operates in the country through Zantel Telecommunication, has reaffirmed its commitment to invest heavily in its expansion programme. The Chairman of Zantel and Chief Regional Officer-Africa Etisalat Group, Mr Essa AlHaddad, said in Dar es Salaam that his company was
    committed to further invest in the country through its subsidiary – Zantel- Tanzania to support massive growth and expansion of the company’s operations in the country.

    “Our partnership with Zantel has been very fruitful… Zantel has grown fast over the last five years in terms of introducing the most advanced and exciting products and services,” he said.

    Mr Al Haddad also said Etisalat will help Zantel reinforce its leadership in broadband and customer experience, giving the Zantel customers unique experience in communications.

    However, Zantel Chief Executive Officer, Pratap Ghose praised Etisalat for being true partners and helping Zantel with the most innovative services.

    “By being part of the Etisalat brand, we can offer our customers and multinational companies a seamless global service and value adding corporate deals,” he said.

    Etisalat is the world telecommunication group which operates across Asia and Africa in 18 countries which include South Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Niger, Sudan, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
