Accessing the Online Account Statement System

To use Equity Bank’s online statement system, you need an active account and access to either the Equity Mobile app or the EazzyNet internet banking platform. Here’s how to get started:

    Via Equity Mobile App

    • Download the app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store and register using your account number and national ID. Verify your identity with the OTP sent to your registered phone number.
    • Log in, navigate to the “Accounts” menu, and select “Statement.” You can view transaction details or download statements as PDFs for a specified period. The app supports integration with finance software like Microsoft Excel for advanced tracking.

    Via EazzyNet (Internet Banking)

    • Visit ug.equitybankgroup.com, select “EazzyNet,” and log in using your credentials. If you’re a first-time user, register at a branch or through customer service.
    • From the dashboard, go to the “Accounts” section, click “Statement,” and choose the date range. Statements can be viewed online or downloaded as PDFs.

    Via USSD (*247#)

Dial *247# and select the option to view a mini-statement. This provides a summary of recent transactions but is less detailed than app or internet banking statements.

      Features and Benefits

The online statement system offers real-time updates, allowing users to track transactions instantly. Key features include:

      • Detailed Records: View deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and bill payments with timestamps and recipient details.
      • Downloadable PDFs: Save statements for record-keeping or tax purposes, compatible with software like Quicken or Excel.
      • Security: Access requires a PIN or biometric authentication, and users can register their devices for added security.
      • Convenience: Access statements anytime, anywhere, reducing the need for branch visits or paper statements.

For Ugandan consumers, this system is particularly useful for small business owners tracking expenses or individuals monitoring budgets. The ability to save statements digitally aligns with Uganda’s push toward a cashless economy.
