Easter holiday is the period of joy and showing love as people celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. People travel miles to meet up with family and to telecom customers, this is a period to enjoy some of the juicy offers from their respective telecom companies which comes in many packages to choose from.
Not all telecom companies are on the front line of giving subsidized data and voice bundles this Easter season, others are having a rather a distinctive offer to push other services. Here is quick dive into what top companies are giving and you can choose for yourself which offer is the best.
Airtel Uganda Freaky Friday Combo
Airtel Uganda team has been busy lately at the beginning of this second quarter of 2019. They introduced a new voice bundle called Mega-Tok and revamped their Data Blasta bundles to target heavy data users with a feel for voice bundles at a cheaper price.
For the long Easter weekend, the Bharti owned company decided to add some flavors to their already established Friday data bundles. They added the option of voice minutes to the Freaky Friday combo package, customers will be able to get 30 Minutes on top of the 1.5GB data bundles at UGX2500 valid for 24 hours and 100 Minutes to accompany the 4GB data valid for 3 days at UGX5000.
Africell Uganda #DontBecheated Weekend Bundles
The self-proclaimed King of the bundles is offering their customers one of the most appealing data packages for the Easter holiday weekend. In their Friday package offer, customers can enjoy 50 minutes Voice bundles plus 2GB data bundles at UGX2500 valid for 24 hours and 150 voice minutes plus 4.5GB at UGX5000 valid for 4 days.
In a bid to lure more users to their new revamped SWIFT bundles, they are offering a free data renewal when you buy a weekly 1GB SWIFT bundle at UGX5000.
MTN MoMo Pay
MTN Uganda has taken a rather unconventional approach to reward its customers this Easter holidays. Earlier this week, we reported of their new partnership with Shoprite Uganda to allow buyers to pay for their goods via MoMo Pay over carrying bulk cash to the bank. They are offering a 10% discount on your shopping at any Shoprite Supermarket Outlet when you opt to make payment via MTN MoMo pay.
This is a move by MTN to further cement their position in the cashless economy and their Easter offer is a good move towards the results even though it’s geographically limited to people with access to Shoprite supermarkets only.
