DStv Uganda Upgrade Alert: Ensure Uninterrupted Viewing with a Decoder Swap

Calling all DStv Uganda subscribers! MultiChoice Africa is implementing technology upgrades to enhance your decoder viewing experience starting May 1st, 2024. To continue enjoying your favorite local channels and any new additions in the future, MultiChoice encourages you to upgrade to a compatible device model. They offer a variety of options to suit different needs and preferences, including the newly launched DStv Stream, which doesn’t require a decoder at all.

Upgrading to a newer HD decoder model brings several benefits:

    • High-definition content: Enjoy stunning visuals on select channels.
    • Uninterrupted viewing: Experience a smoother viewing experience with fewer disruptions.
    • Improved notifications: Stay informed with clearer decoder notifications and messages.

MultiChoice has been actively informing customers about the upcoming upgrade for the past two months through emails, SMS, and decoder notifications. To avoid service disruption after May 1st, they urge you to replace your older device with a newer version.

For assistance with the upgrade process or to find information on compatible device models, contact your local DStv agent or visit your nearest DStv branch. Don’t miss out on the best entertainment Africa has to offer – upgrade your decoder today!
