    DSTV cuts price of its HD Zapper decoder

    At the beginning of this year, DSTV launched the HD Zapper single view decoder on the Ugandan market. The decoder was being sold at UGX 160,000, minus installation and subscription costs and the full kit was at UGX 309 000. For the festive season, the company has slashed its HD Zapper decoder price to just UGX 85,000 and UGX 130,000 for the full kit which includes a 90 cm dish plus accessories. This offer will run while stocks last.

    DSTV will install this decoder for you at only UGX 50,000 if you stay 20 km from its Kampala Head Office and other rates may apply for locations beyond. The HD Zapper decoder, according to DStv delivers the very best high quality picture and sound quality available on the market. It replaced the old SD decoder single view decoder which is being phased out as part of digital migration.

    DSTV urges all customers that have paid more than UGX 130,000 for the full kit or UGX 85,000 for the decoder only to claim their refunds at their offices at Buganda Road. Don’t forget to carry your receipts and details for the sale agent where the decoder was purchased.
