Streaming music has become very popular in the last six or seven years, as the likes of Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, and YouTube Music are all vying for a slice of the pie. Some people go to locally available platforms like Howebiz to quench their thirst for local music either by downloading the songs onto their phones or streaming them.

It seems like traditional offline playback via music files is less important than ever, but we want to know whether you indeed have locally stored music files on your phone. You can answer this question by taking our poll below.
Just to clarify, we’re not asking whether you’ve got downloaded music from a streaming service on your phone. We want to know whether traditional music files are stored on your smartphone. These files can be downloaded to your phone from a website, copied from a PC, or obtained via another source (e.g. sent via WhatsApp).
Me? I have a few dozen music tracks on my current daily driver as I’ve exceeded my Spotify device limit. I’ve also previously copied music to my phone that I simply bought elsewhere, wanting to make the most of my purchase.
