    Deals to look out for in this year’s Jumia Black Friday

    It’s November already and the 2018 Jumia Black Friday is fast approaching. This year’s sales are starting on the 16th of November at midnight, all through to the 7th of December.

    One thing to always look out for on Jumia Black Friday is massive price cuts, discounts, and an exclusive product range to choose from. Jumia adds to this daily flash sales and treasure hunts, as well as discount vouchers for lucky customers.

    For the 4 Black Fridays this year, there are over 10 flash sales, a couple of treasure hunts involving cookers and detergents, plus discount vouchers. The other week days will have half the offer, with 5 daily flash sales and a single treasure hunt.

    Jumia Chief Executive Officer, Ron Kawamara, stated at the launch of the campaign that there will be discounts of up to 70% on over 5000 products. Not to forget, shoppers are set to enjoy free delivery for purchases over 200,000 UGX.

    Let’s take a look at the first deals released so far, available on the Jumia site and to the Jumia mobile app.

    Phones

    The Tecno F3 (Pop), carrying a 5MP camera, 1GB of RAM and 8GB ROM will go for 241,000 UGX; the Infinix Hot 6 having 13 MP and 1GB RAM will cost 356,000 UGX; Xiamoi’s Redmi 6A, with 16GB ROM for 385,000 UGX; and the iPhone X of 256 GB ROM will be available at 3,350,000 UGX.

    Kitchen Appliances

    You can grab yourself the Newal 20L Microwave for only 190,000 UGX; Blueflame 50 X 50 all gas upright oven at 399,000 UGX; and the Hisense 120L Fridge for 395,000 UGX.

    TV and Audio

    Jumia is staking the Hisense 32” LED TV at 610,000 UGX; LG DVD Home Theatre at 780,000 UGX; and Samsung’s 32” Full HD Digital TV at 790,000 UGX.

    Jumia expects this year’s campaign to be the largest, with anticipations of it injecting over UGX 17.5B in Uganda’s economic activity.
