Centenary Rural Development Bank has been one of the top financial institution in Uganda for the past recent years and has managed to keep it’s pedigree as a top bank for many reasons. After a loud cry from their customers for the lack of VISA/MasterCard enabled ATM card, the company rolled out their Cente VISA card in May 2018 to enhance convenience and easy access to financial services for their clients through the use of the card.
In a bid to encourage the use of the Cente VISA card, the Mapeera House based firm this week launched a new campaign dubbed as #KwasaWithCenteVISA. An initiative aimed to reward customers using the card to make online transactions and on POS machines in various supermarkets, fuel stations, restaurants and hotels among other places.
To enter the draw for the grand prize of a fully paid trip to watch the 2019 AFCON games in Egypt, one has to make at least four transactions using the Cente VISA card before June 2019. Numerous prizes such as shopping vouchers worth 24UGX million and branded prizes like T-shirts are to be given out in this campaign from the weekly draws.
Speaking during the launch, the bank’s Managing Director, Mr. Fabian Kasi, emphasized the importance of using the Cente VISA card and encourage customers to adopt this method of payment since it improves security because you do not have to move with the money. Another service launched, is the customer service week slated from 1st April to Friday 5th at the city square to gather customers feedback on many services offered by the bank.
