    BlueChip Technologies opens shop in Uganda

    BlueChip Technologies, a prominent African tech giant specializing in Data Management and Analytics, has made an entrance into Uganda.

    Based in Lagos, Nigeria, BlueChip Technologies has been progressively expanding its influence across Africa in recent years. Now, with its foray into the Ugandan market, the company emerges as a formidable player, offering state-of-the-art data warehousing and analytics products coupled with a rich pool of local talent.

    Spearheaded by Soyombo Olumide, Co-Founder of BlueChip Global Technologies, this expansion into Uganda is a sign of the recognition of the untapped potential within the country’s vibrant digital economy.

    Olumide emphasized, at the launch event, the company’s commitment to accelerating technological advancement in Uganda, leveraging expertise in digital transformation, scalable infrastructure solutions, and cybersecurity to propel the nation towards a more digitally-driven economy.

    From its inception in 2018, BlueChip Technologies has been driven by a strategic vision to foster global partnerships and revolutionize Africa’s digital landscape. 

    Kazeem Tewogbade, Co-Founder of BlueChip Technologies, highlighed the company’s dedication to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, emphasizing tangible results that facilitate clients’ digital transformation objectives effectively.

    In alignment with Uganda’s technology sector, characterized by a remarkable growth rate of 14% and a substantial contribution of 9% to the country’s GDP, the company’s entry promises to catalyze further growth and innovation. 

    Government officials, such as Chris Baryomunsi from the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, express enthusiasm about BlueChip Technologies’ arrival, recognizing its potential to stimulate technological adoption and drive economic progress.

    Baryomunsi hinted on the importance of private tech giants like BlueChip Technologies in supporting the government’s efforts to cultivate local tech talent and advance the country’s digital agenda. 

    By championing the implementation of the National Digital Transformation Strategy, private players like BlueChip Technologies play a pivotal role in enhancing service delivery, creating opportunities for youth, and positioning Uganda as an innovation hub in Africa.

    Over the past five years, BlueChip Technologies has garnered a stellar reputation as a leader in data warehousing and analytics, collaborating with top-tier technology companies to deliver actionable business insights and streamline processes. 

    Their strategic emphasis on seven key business levers—Strategy, People, Process, Metrics, Applications, Data, and Architecture—underscores their commitment to driving innovation and fostering long-term success for their clients.
