BlackBerry Messenger for phones running Android 2.3 now available

When Blackberry first announced that they will be releasing an Android app for BBM, people flocked in millions to download the app from the stores, The only issue was that it was targeting mainly high end and Android phones that were running version 4.0  and above. Today BlackBerry will announce a million or so new users in the next few days, due to BBM for Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)on Google Play after weeks of beta testing. Gingerbread still powers a large number of Android devices worldwide, since they are low-cost, especially in the merging markets. Unluckily, Windows Phone users still have to wait a bit longer for their BBM treat.
