Popular social website in Uganda Bigeye.ug has crashed and one would think the site is no more. We speculate the site developers never backed up the site and things have gone wrong and no plans to restore their backup. When you visit the site now you will see a default wordpress webhosting homepage, and the title showing Bigeye | Just Another wordpress site. They could be upgrading to a new server for all we know.
There is no official statement from the site but we hope they will be back up soon to give us some more of that celebrity gossip.
Update : As for today the site is back up and can be confirmed by a tweet on their page. Apparently they were updating their internal servers.
