BBM to be preinstalled on some Android smartphones, in Africa and Asia

BlackBerry has of today announced that BBM will be preloaded on some Android smartphones starting next month. We currently don’t know which phones exactly as the company didn’t bother naming any. According to BlackBerry most Android leading  OEMs original equipment manufacturers— will be able to pre-install  the app for the phones they make for Africa, India, Indonesia, Latin America and the Middle East.

We think is this a good strategy for the Canadian firm as it strives to expand its wings in the emerging markets. You can find the full PR here.
