This means that even though Apple isn’t immediately throwing anyone onto the street, the company is trying to do its best to avoid layoffs wherever possible; And we hope the final count won’t be anywhere near 200. Beats Music CEO Ian Rogers is now expected to join Apple’s ranks along with Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine. Apple is also rumored to keep Beats’ Santa Monica headquarters around once the buyout is finalized.
