    Android’s grip on the tablet market got tighter!

    If you take a look at the just released report by gartner, you realise how impressive android tablets have  performed in 2013. Especially when pitched against their rivals, iOS and Microsoft.

    A look at the figures,  Androids scoops numbers one position with an impressive 62% market share, iOS walks home with 36%  and Microsoft with just 2.1%. The market share is in terms of sales to end users in the year 2013.

    That is not all there is to the picture however, from a manufactures or vendors perspective Apple maintains the pole position with  36% percent market share in (a notable decline from 53% market share in 2012). Samsung comes in second with 19.1% (a remarkable growth from 7.4% in 2012)
