Airtel Uganda has introduced a dynamic discount solution that enables Airtel customers to make calls at discounted rates of less than 3/- per second across all networks.
Dubbed the Airtel Zone, the discount solution is free of charge and Airtel customers can opt in by dialing *135# and press yes or ok. The launch of the Airtel Zone comes after a new call tariff 3/-per sec was introduced to customers re-emphasizing our affordability stance that has been associated with Airtel for a very long time in Uganda.
Commenting on this latest innovation, Airtel Uganda Marketing Director, Mr. Prasoon Lal said;
