Airtel is unveiled as the official of Masaza Cup, Twitter reacts.

Airtel has outbid MTN Uganda to become the official sponsor of the much loved Masaza cup, a football feat that draws Buganda kingdom’s counties against each other in the game of football. The last tourney graced by the Kabaka of Buganda climaxed at the Mandela National stadium with Buddu triumphing over Gomba to lift the trophy.
The match drew thousands of people as were the case for the Uganda Cranes March that similarly attracts such numbers. Airtel officially takes over from MTN that sponsored the last tournament in a deal worth 400 million Uganda shillings. Airtel has over the years officially  sponsored Buganda events like the Kabaka’s Run and his coronation.
