Airtel Uganda doubles down on mobile data in the new Data-Blasta bundles

The mobile internet consumers are growing every other day and the better way to capture them is by lowering the price of the data bundles. In this day and age when fast internet is all that one needs, telecom companies are striving to deliver reliable 4G internet access, at a cost that can fit well in everyone’s pocket – and airtel Uganda just did that with the revamped Data-Blasta bundles.

The company this week unveiled two new products: Mega-Tok for voice bundles and new and improved Data Blasta bundles for mobile internet. It is evident that Airtel looks to beat the competition hands down to the crown of being the country’s best internet network.

We have already seen and tested the performance of Airtel’s 4G network coverage across the country, and the new bundles are clearly geared to have the edge over the competition in the areas that their network is still wanting.

The telco has made a significant top-up on the bundles that existed in the campaign before, giving you more data for an unchanged rate. The weekly and monthly subscribers are deemed to benefit most, with the bundles in each validity getting crazy increments.

Notable increments include the UGX 20,000 weekly bundle rising to 7GB from 5GB, the UGX 50,000 monthly bundle up to 20GB from 12GB, and the UGX 150,000 bundle increased from 51GB to 65GB.
