Airtel Uganda has rebranded their website to best serve you

The  buzz about Airtel’s 4G countrywide coverage has been one of the most trending topics in the country for the best couple of months and we did a separate opine article to show you whether the 4G services is really 100% across the country following our tour across the North and Eastern part of the country. Keep in mind, the issue of 100% countrywide 4G coverage is also still up for debate depending on how you look at it.

In a bid to further improve their services and show customers their new 100% 4G services, Airtel  Uganda today rebranded and launched a new website to fulfill one of those goals. The refurbished new design comes with a new user interface(UI) and some additional features on the homepage to give you a new user experience (UX).

    What’s new?

The new UI design adds some new feels to Airtel’s custom color of red and white and there is a new column just below the main image (desktop/web view) where customers can go ahead and recharge airtime, voice bundles and request a call back among some of the services you can get from the new website.

They added a new page where you can go ahead and check the coverage of 4G internet within the country by entering the location or scrolling through the Google Map view and seeing the locations, however you will get a warning from Google saying this site doesn’t load “Google Maps correctly” and will ask if you own the website.

The website is highly responsive and I had a seamless experience on the mobile view as well, I was able to check the new feature of recharging your Airtime from the website and was contented with this helpful tool.

You can go ahead and check the new features we could have missed from the official website.
