    Airtel Uganda brings back free 20MB data offer

    Asserting its self as Uganda’s Smartphone network, Airtel Uganda has brought back the much-needed 20 MB free monthly data bundle that they give to their subscribers every 30 days. This extra data is designed to keep you hooked online 24/7. Instead of the 30-day validity period, it is now only valid for 7 days. This comes at a time when the big red network has completed the process of upgrading its 3G data network to match the competition, something we have already seen in previous data speed tests carried out by the Techjaja crew.

    In a post in their social media platform, they said ;

    “We are always thinking of making your experience better on the ‪‎SmartPhone Network‬ and today we are pleased to announce that we successfully upgraded our system and yes! your free monthly 20MBs are now active and their validity as been extended.”

    MTN Uganda also offers a similar deal– for every 30 MB of data any subscriber spends, they are given 15MB of free data per month. We guess after this announced upgrade completion by Airtel, some speed tests are long over due (data speed pundits, anyone?).
