    Airtel launches the Samsung Galaxy s5

    Airtel Uganda has today launched the Samsung Galaxy s5, one of the most anticipated Android Phone of the year at Serena hotel.The phone was officially launched by the guest of honor Minister of State for ICT Nyombi Thembo.

    Early this month the carrier began a Galaxy s5 pre-order process allowingGalaxy s5_hero subscribers buy the smartphone a price of UGX 2million ($770). The carrier will sale the 3G version of the phone as LTE galaxy s5 version always proves to be a challenge for carriers to deploy in the AMEA region.

    The phone will come with free s-view covers and 1.5GB per month for three months.  Samsung’s new flagship phone will be available at Airtel shops.  We had an extensive review of the Galaxy s5  this phone but for those who missed the memo can check it out.  The Android powered Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with among others features like; full HD super AMOLED display, 16 megapixel camera, a great array of sensors, heart rate monitor, water resistance and durst proof, fingerprint scanner and 2GB RAM.
