    Airtel scraps off some monthly data bundles

    Airtel Uganda is scrapping off some monthly data bundles  of 350MB, 750MB, 1.5GB & 17GB. This new development will now leave only 9 monthly bundles out of the 13 that were offered prior to this announcement. The new changes are effective today of the 21st of October.

    The announcement was made yesterday over SMS to all Airtel customers as saying

    Dear Customer, effective 21st Oct, we shall no longer offer monthly data bundles of 350MB, 750MB, 1.5GB &17GB. Please dial *175# to enjoy other offers. Thank you”, reads the message.

    Airtel also took to its social media pages and announced the same to its clientele.

    It is not yet known why Airtel is scrapping off some monthly bundles given the details are still scanty. But big Red asserts that its offer more value to its customers.

    The move only leaves these 9 data bundles available for users to purchase.
