    Africell sweetens the 4G SIM card swap deal with 1GB free of data once you upgrade

    Just days after MTN Uganda announced that it will be giving away free 4G SIM cards, Africell Uganda, has today come out to make the deal even sweeter, not only will you get a free 4G SIM when you swap with you current SIM card, subscribers will also get 1 free GB of data free for swapping their current sim cards for the much faster 4G LTE sim cards that the giant telecom is positioning. Africell says with the completion of laying their high speed 4G cables across the country, customers can now make use of the improved data speeds and limited drop calls.

    Announcing the launch of 4G services Milad Khairallah, Africell’s Commercial Director said “4G technology is gaining widespread acceptance by most of our customers across Uganda. The launch of Africell’s 4G LTE services will further expand on our service offering and propel the brand to an even higher growth trajectory, consolidating our leader market position”

    Africell customers with 4G devices in most towns across Uganda can now start experiencing 4G speeds by simply upgrading their existing SIM cards to new 4G SIM cards plus earn 1GB free data to start off the super experience. Africell has also partnered with leading handset manufacturers and e-commerce retailers for special data bundling offers on new 4G smartphones.
