    A SmartWatch, TalkBand and MediaPad: All about Huawei at MWC 2015

    Huawei has announced three great devices at MWC 2015. It includes a gorgeous Smartwatch, two Talkbands the B2 and N1 and a 7 inch MediaPad tablet X2.

    SmartWatch

    For a first entry Android wear smartwatch, this thing looks impressive and comes with a 1.4-inch, 400×400 resolution circular AMOLED display inside a 316L corrosive-resistant, cold-forged stainless steel body. That display sits beneath a sapphire crystal lens cover for scratch resistance and can be used with gloves on or wet hands.

    The sensors in this Watch include, a 6-axis, heart rate monitor and barometer. The 6-axis sensor enables the Huawei Watch to recognize what kind of motion you’re currently doing, such as walking, running, cycling, and the automatically record the relevant data. It will come with 40 different watch faces and a choice of gold, silver or black finish.

    TalkBand

    Huawei Talkband B2

    Huawei has also unveiled a pair of new TalkBand devices.The TalkBand B2 is a direct follow-up to the B1 from last year and incorporates smartband features and a premium Bluetooth headset.

    Alongside it is the TalkBand N1, a health and fitness tracker that incorporates a Hi-Fi Stereo, Bluetooth headset with 4GB of internal storage to put your music on.

     

    The MediaPad Tablet

    Huawei has also unveiled a new, cellular enabled 7 inch tablet, the MediaPad X2.  It’s an update from the MediaPad X1, with thinner bezels including a 2.0GHz Kirin 930 ultra-octa chipset and support for Cat 6 LTE.

    Other hardware specs of note are a 1920×1200 resolution display, 5000mAh battery, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front facing camera and Android 5.0 Lollipop beneath Huawei’s EMUI custom software.

    The MediaPad X2 will be available in two versions, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, and one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage.
