    ICT Association of Uganda appoints new board of directors

    Following an extraordinary general meeting held on Saturday 30th January 2021, the ICT Association of Uganda members has elected new board of directors. As is the practice and agreed upon in the constitution, the board provides leadership for carrying out the association’s mission to create an effective network between all practitioners, researchers, policymakers, government, and industry to facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration in the development of the ICT sector in Uganda.

    The ICT Association of Uganda is therefore pleased to officially announce that the new board of directors includes;

    1. Mrs. Elizabeth Ntege as the Chairperson.
    2. Mr. Rajeev Agarwal Rajeev as the Vice-Chairperson.
    3. Mr. James Byaruhanga as a Non- executive Director.
    4. Mr. Ken Stober as a Non- executive Director.
    5. Mr. Boaz Shani as Non- executive Director.
    6. Ms. Joan Katambi as a Non- executive Director.
    7. Mr. Patrick Kadama as a Non- executive Director.

    In line with the mission of the ICT Association of Uganda, this year of 2021 the board has committed to strengthening membership by creating value and relevance, focusing on advocacy with relevant stakeholders, building capacity and re-establishing the associations activities and events. The new board’s term will run for the next 3 years.
