Ride hailing apps in Uganda are turning into the new must have smartphone apps. Taxify, Mondo ride, Uber and Safeboda now rule the modern transport ride hailing business. With many Newspaper ads and billboards portraying new services to the market now and then. The Ugandan based Safeboda app has decided to step up its place since it’s no longer monopolizing the Boda hailing sector.
Relocating their offices from Kanyanya a few kilometers away to Bukoto street in Kamwokya, a Kampala suburb where the Boda hailing service now has its base of operations. SafeBoda over the past few weeks has recruited more riders to the service, just like the story was with its fresh new logo to juice up its public image.

Having launched its services 3 years ago. The most successful Ugandan based technological service Safeboda is now following the tunes of its competitors that have attacked it in its most dominant zones.
Speaking about the future of Safeboda in Uganda, this is what Ricky papa the service co-founder had to say during their new campaign launch.
We’re excited about this campaign and about starting a conversation with our customers about Kampala. So I encourage everyone to take part in these activities, and share pictures.
About Safeboda’s new riders campaign

Your city ride is a fresh new campaign by Safeboda aimed at fulfilling rider’s interests every month. While Taxify Boda is spoiling its riders with free credit and rides around Kampala. The new Safeboda campaign lies between better service delivery and enrollment of more riders to the city. Could this mean that boda stages may fade away into the new virtual boda hailing business? But Since Safeboda has unveiled its new 100 riders recruitment plan per week goals. We just have to watch the space as the brand redefines its target market in reference to the fast rising boda hailing apps.
Safeboda’s new your city ride campaign will see riders enjoy more benefits from requesting trips with the first ever boda hailing service in Uganda. While the company decided to keep locked on its orange flavored gear. Mondo ride is, on the other hand, giving its Boda and Taxi hailing services a dry run on the Ugandan market as it plans to redefine the future of ride-hailing services in Uganda.
