    Interesting smartphone deals to check out during the Jumia Mobile Week

    Easter season is fast approaching and the festivity never comes in vain. It is that time of the year when you feel the urge to spend the saved cash on something, and this could be worth your interest. We are already in the Jumia mobile week and the discounts are already making a mess of smartphone lovers.

    The promotion started on April 8th and is running all the way to April 21st, with discounts up to 60% off any of the smartphone brands you can name – Tecno, Iphone, Samsung, Infinix, Nokia, Huawei, HTC, Redmi and more.

    The interesting deals in theJumia Mobile Week

    Jumia has brought the smartphone shop nearer to you, with a price cut on a number of gadgets. For instance, the Iphone 7 is discounted from UGX 2,400,000 to 1,599,000; the Nokia 6.1’s price is cut from UGX 1,070,000 to 567,000; The Infinix Zero 6 Pro X620 is debuting on the platform with a discount from UGX 1,560,000 to 1,099,000.

    Other deals include the Samsung Galaxy J6, whose price is up from UGX 920,000 to 580,000; while the Tecno Camon 11 Pro costs UGX 763,000 cut dowm from 900,000;
    ‘the lowest priced 4G smartphone’ – the Redmi Go for just UGX 269,000; and the cheapest smartphone going for just 115,000 Ugx.

    You can also get yourself some good power banks with prices dropped from UGX 80,000 to 50,000 Ugx, as well as cool feature phones going for as low as UGX 50,000.

    There are also daily treasure hunts (of phones discounted to almost 100%) and flash sales that can give you your interest at a give-away price.

    The benefits to claim

    Jumia is promising to deliver your product in the soonest time possible. If you place an order for an item marked ‘Jumia Express’ before 3 PM, it will be delivered on the same day or within 24 hours, and any other product will reach you in 24 hours as long as you are within Kampala.

    The 7 days return policy is still standing, and any queries you may have on a product you’ve bought off the platform can be raised within 7 days after purchase upon which you can get a change or refund as necessitated. Jumia asserts that all the products available in the mobile week have at least a year’s warranty.

    Jumia is also partnering with Liberty insurance to allow customers conveniently insure the mobile items they purchase off the platform, with Insurance starting at only 5,000 Ugx depending on the mobile item ordered. The insurance covers any form of theft and damage on the product with in a year of use.
