Today LinkedIn a professional social network is releasing an modernized iPhone and Android app, as well as a matching mobile website. They have decided to go with a cleaner, sleeker layout with more easier navigation.

The new UI has larger photos and text fill up every story, and each update is separated by a simple break between the tiles, just nice and clean. Gone is the icon based navigation menu which includes personalized shortcuts and generally lets users move around the app more quickly. Try it out if you are hooked onto that social network.
