WhatsApp is undeniably the most popular messaging app right now across the continent and being top of the log means you have to endlessly up your game to match the changing demands of your customers. And the Facebook-owned messaging platform hasn’t lacked creativity in that department, sometimes they introduce brand new features and at times tweak its already existing features to make it more lucrative to the users. In one such move, WhatsApp has updated stickers pack within their app adding a brand new sticker pack to its collection.
The new sticker pack dubbed as ‘Opi’ is available to all the App users across the Android and iOS platforms. If you aren’t sure how you can get access to the new sticker pack on your smartphone, just follow these simple steps:
How to download WhatsApp Sticker pack
- Open WhatsApp on your smartphone and then open any individual (or group chat).
- Tap on the stickers option on the left corner of your typing space. (You will now see a menu where you can pick between GIFs and Stickers. Tap on the sticker icon.).
- Now tap on the plus icon on the right corner of the menu. You will see all the stickers available to you.
- On the top, you will see the new Opi sticker pack.
- Tap on the download icon next to it and you are good to go.
However, if you don’t like the newly rolled out sticker pack, you can delete it by tapping on the delete option that appears when you tap on the specific sticker pack under the app’s “All Stickers option.”

Apart from using the stickers available within WhatsApp, users can use third-party apps to create their own sticker packs that are specific to their WhatsApp accounts. The only downside is you will have to install a third party app for this from the respective app stores on Android and iOS to help you create the stickers. To download the apps, search for “Sticker maker for WhatsApp” on your respective app store and install one of your choices.
Once installed, here is a simple steps Android users can follow to create their own sticker pack:
- Open the Sticker Maker app and tap on Create a new Sticker Pack option.
- Now tap on Add Sticker option to create a new sticker.
- Choose the image you want to convert into a sticker. You can pick images from your phone’s gallery, Google Drive or even Google Photos to create a sticker.
- Now crop the selected image (or images) as per your requirements.
- Tap on the Publish Sticker Pack option.
- Once the sticker pack has been published, the app will automatically show up along with other stickers in your WhatsApp account.
