As we age to the point where innovation is the difference in the smartphone industry, the third generation of the Tecno Spark is around the corner – waiting to be unveiled. Not much is known about the upcoming device, from at least the renders we have come across, but the Spark 3 is expected to pick up from where the Spark 2 left.
The Tecno Spark 2 was a mind-blowing mid-range device with “awesome features that are worthy of attention”. Coming with a 6″ bezel-less HD+ full display, running on Android 8.1 Go Edition with HiOS v3.3, and having a bright 13 MP rear camera is something not to be left out.
But the prospects of having a much more beautiful Spark are very high and all the hope has been placed in the Spark 3.
Tecno Spark 3 Rumored Specifications
We expect it to ship in two variants; the standard and Pro models. Away from the 6 inch display on the Spark 2, the Spark 3 could extend further to 6.2 inches, with the Pro version likely to feature a notch display as visible on the Infinix Hot 7. We could also see a new 19:9 aspect ratio on the devices at launch.
In regards to the Operating System, the Spark 3 could run the Go Edition of Android Oreo 8.1, with the Pro version likely to extend on to Android Pie. The standard version could have a 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, with the pro higher with 2 GB and 32 GB storage on it.
For the camera, the company is teasing an AI bright camera on the series. You could see a dual-camera setup (of 13 MP & 2 MP) on the Spark 3 pro, an advancement from last year’s model, with the standard Spark 3 likely to maintain the single camera setup on the rear with a likely 8 MP selfie sensor for both.
The other upgrade that could be available on the pro is 4G connectivity, which went missing on the Spark 2 – while having a 3500mAh battery, and fingerprint scanner at the back for both these devices.
These, and a lot more, is what you can expect as the launch of the Spark 3 series nears. We wait on!
