    TECNO Spark 3 series to be launched in Uganda next week

    TECNO has geared up to unveil its sparkling TECNO Spark 3 series smartphones in Uganda next week. The Spark 3 and Spark 3 Pro phones are aimed to the millennials and is expected to be received by Ugandan youth overwhelmingly despite the delays to launch it in Uganda. The phone has already been launched in other countries like Kenya and Nigeria, and the trio of smartphones will come with many tantalizing features to can cater for the many users at different price points.

    We expect it to ship in two variants; the standard and Pro models. Away from the 6 inch display on the Spark 2, the Spark 3 could extend further to 6.2 inches, with the Pro version likely to feature a notch display as visible on the Infinix Hot 7. We could also see a new 19:9 aspect ratio on the devices at launch.

    In regards to the Operating System, the Spark 3 could run the Go Edition of Android Oreo 8.1, with the Pro version likely to extend on to Android Pie. The standard version could have a 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, with the pro higher with 2 GB and 32 GB storage on it.

    The Spark 3 Specs

    For the camera, the company is teasing an AI bright camera on the series. You could see a dual-camera setup (of 13 MP & 2 MP) on the Spark 3 pro, an advancement from last year’s model, with the standard Spark 3 likely to maintain the single camera setup on the rear with a likely 8 MP selfie sensor for both.

    The Spark 3 will come with an improved aesthetic which are reminiscent to, the Camon 11. It will also have dual cameras, just like the TECNO Camon 11. The device will be equipped with a lasting battery life as one of its selling points. Its also equipped with several great AI bright cameras to get your selfie and photo game on.

    TECNO’s pricing is not yet known but we expect it not to go beyond UGX 500,000 to make it affordable to the target market. Well we shall find out more details about this anticipated TECNO series next week.
