Simba food seeks to give Jumia food competition in food delivery

You might have seen a few billboards advertising a new food delivery service, Simba food on your way to or fro town and wondered what actually Simba Food is? Well, it is a new food delivery service akin to Jumia food since both are more like brothers and sisters but from different parents.

They both enable the end-user order for food from restaurants within his/her proximity either through the app or the web.

They also share a few of the restaurants if not all and it  is hard to trace any differentiation between the two. They almost serve the same cuisines but by comparison Jumia Food offers more and also does fresh groceries and alcoholic beverages through Jumia Fresh and Jumia Party respectively. Something Simba Foods doesn’t have at the moment.

They both have special deals and offers but Jumia food goes an extra mile of offering an live in-app customer care interaction but all in all the core service remains food delivery.

What will differentiate the two is their quality of service but we must agree that Jumia Food is still on top of the ladder, given its incumbent position but like in any industry, competition is good.

We can only wait to see what the two will offer to their clientele and overtime we shall arrive at a conclusion on who is on top of the other.

Simba Food is available on the web and in both the Google Play and App Stores.
